At Quinta Nova Winery House – Relais & Châteaux, guests can get a real understanding of the spirit of the Douro Valley by observing wine making and farming activities, following the walkers’ trails and discovering the historic sites on the estate. When not sampling wine guests are invited for a walk through the scenic and tranquil countryside or just relax by the outdoor swimming pool. Overlooking the vineyards and the river, the luxurious rooms are decorated in a period style and guarantee every possible comfort. Quinta Nova Winery House – Relais & Châteaux features its own a train station, a heliport and a boat dock. Guests arriving by train benefit from a free shuttle between the train station and the main building. The nearest airport is Porto International Airport, 80 mi away.WiFi is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.
