Herdade de Vale Côvo is situated within the Natural Park of Guadiana Valley along the river between Mértola and Serpa in Alentejo, South of Portugal.|The house was an old hunting place, now restored, surrounded by 184 hectares of Mediterranean forest and aromatic plants.|It is possible to visit the plantation of aromatic plants of lavender, rosemary, geranium and our distillery where we produce essential oils 100 % natural from organic agriculture.|Meals are made with natural and organic products. We also serve vegetarian dishes.|There are 5 twin-rooms with private bath-room and central heating. During winter meals are served near the fireplace in the living-room.|A covered patio and a 60 m2 swimming-pool with a panoramic view of Guadiana Valley assure pleasant coolness in the summer.
