It is a luxury guest house where guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the centre of Cascais. It is a luxury guest house where guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the centre of Cascais. Charming with a very personalised decoration, this beautiful hotel in Cascais overlooks the bay and was constructed under orders from the 3rd Dukes of Palmela, D. Maria Luísa Domingas and D. António, at the end of the 19th century. It was then offered to the famous writer D. Maria Amália Vaz de Carvalho, who went on to live here for many years. The air-conditioned hotel welcomes guests into a lobby with 24-h reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, lift access and hairdressing salon. Guests may also enjoy a drink at the bar, dine in the breakfast and dining room, and make use of the hotels WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services, car park and bicycle hire service.Located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, served by a lift, the hotel rooms have a charming and personalised decoration, and are equipped to offer guests high standards of wellbeing. They feature a side sea view and a complete bathroom with a shower and bathtub, hand painted tiles and natural light. Further in-room amenities include a telephone and hairdryer, double bed, a cable TV with different international channels and a minibar, as well as a safety deposit box, air conditioning and central heating.
