Located on the elegant and old boulevard "Avenida dos Aliados", in the heart of the historic center of Porto, Hotel Universal is surrounded by some of the most iconic buildings of this city and in a central point to reach the sights on foot. With a privileged location, Hotel Universal has easy access to all parts of the city on foot, by bus and also by metro. The train station is just 2 minutes away, and the metro station to the airport is only 5 minutes away (the journey takes about 30 minutes).




Room facilities:

Characterized by a pleasant atmosphere, Hotel Universal offers 44 fully furnished and conveniently equipped rooms, which are divided into different categories: Economy, Standard, Superior, Superior with view, etc ... (see more details below).

All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, heating, fire detection and extinguisher, cable TV, direct dial telephone and private bathroom with hairdryer. A work desk is available in most rooms.

Single Room - Small room with a narrow bed, overlooking the inner courtyard, about 8 m2, private bathroom with shower, minibar and safe.

Economy Room - Small double or twin room, located on the sixth floor (access by stairs only), about 8m2, overlooking the central courtyard, full bathroom with shower.

Standard Room - En suite room with shower or bathtub. Double / twin have between 12 and 15 sqm, triples are 17 sqm and family rooms 20 sqm. Only a double bed and a triple bed overlook the Avenue, the rest overlook the inner courtyard or the back. Some rooms have a safe.

Superior Room - 17 sqm renovated double or twin room with spa bath or shower, minibar and safe. The double rooms overlook the inner courtyard or the back, most of the twins overlook the Boulevard. There is a triple room with rear view and one with a view of the Boulevard both with 20 sqm, shower and balcony.

Superior Room with View - 21 sqm Queen Room with Boulevard View, bathroom with spa bath, minibar and safe.

Twin Handicap - Cameră cu 20 mp, cu vedere la curtea centrală cu baie echipată pentru persoane cu mobilitate redusă.
